Alfonso Estrada is a director and Annie Award nominated animator specializing in stop-motion. He earned his BA in Animation at Loyola Marymount University in 2006. There he received high accolades for his stop-motion animated thesis and as a result was awarded a Sony fellowship upon graduation where he was chosen to be a part of the “Directing for Animation” training program at Sony Animation Studios.

In 2015 he was nominated for an Annie Award in the category of “Outstanding Achievement in Character Animation for an Animated Television/broadcast Production” for his work on the holiday special “Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas.”

He has lent his talents to a number of projects ranging from commercial, television, web, music video and feature film work. Past clientele include: Disney, Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Adults Swim, Amazon, McDonald’s and Mattel to name a few.
